Excellent work, Nice Design
discount prandin Like Eco’s earlier works in the same series, which focused on beauty, ugliness, and the power of lists, the result is a book that ticks every box required to make it on to highbrow coffee tables: pleasingly chunky dimensions, attractively glossy pages, and hundreds of colour illustrations. Indeed, in some ways it is a better book to look at than to read. Although Eco includes a thoughtful final chapter pointing out that “the possible world of narrative is the only universe in which we can be absolutely sure about something”, he does not attempt to disguise the fact that the book is more of a cultural scrapbook than an argument.
